" Promo Rallye " was established in 1994, when its two partners founders Paulo Monteiro and Jorge Santos felt the need to create a space in Portugal, turned to continually reaching for more global horizons on Motor sports and tuning, till that time very mistreated at this level of accessories selling business. " Promo " means Motorized Products, with the association of the word " Rallye ". Taking advantage of all the experience of Paulo Monteiro, who began in rallying with a Group N R5 GT Turbo in 1996 National Junior Championship reaching to obtaining in 1991 the 3rd final place in National Rally Championship with a Group N Lancia Delta Integrale 16V. Jorge Santos, for its time, began in 1984 by Junior Rally Championship also, as a co-driver, where he met, at last, Paulo Monteiro in 1989. |

| The adversities felt by these two former Rally pilots along their career, associated to buying abroad their accessories needed for their cars and themselves, made possible the foundation of "Promo Rallye", idea witch was born in 1994, with the final creation of the company on August 1995. | |
| Beginning with all kind of brands, in terms of distribution of products produced abroad, it finally get through in 1995 by the end of the year, when we formed a strategic partnership with " OMP RACING S.R.L." - 2nd larger world company in the manufacture of Motor sports and Tuning accessories - headquartered in Ronco Scrivia, nearby Génova - Italy, a Ferrari partner during years in Formula 1 or with Ralliart in Rally World Championship, dressing pilots such as Michael Schumacher, Tommy Makkinen, Ayrton Senna, Damon Hill, Gerhard Berger and Carlos Sainz. | ![]() |

Since then, the association to great companies happened to a hallucinating rhythm: after "OMP" followed "COMPOMOTIVE", HELIX, TECNOSHOCK, PIPERCAMS, WILWOOD, NGK TRAN-X and DUNLOP MOTORSPORT, all of them representation partners to exclusive title for Portugal, altering in few months "Promo Rallye's" situation that began in the area of the competition with customers so notables as António Jorge, Carlos Carvalho, Pedro Meireles, Miguel Campos, Fernando Peres, José Pedro Gomes, Pedro Leal, João Vassalo, Horácio Franco, Paulo Azevedo, Rui Azevedo, Joaquim Jorge, Armindo Araújo and many others. |
